Lines.
One day, during a walk in the woods, I decided to take a look at the location where I usually expect to find a nice macro subjects.
I would expect to find small fungi, spiders, sider webs, moss and such. But this time I noticed small, caterpillar like, creatures crawling around.
One wasn’t crawling fast. It was making it’s way across a spiderweb. I took numerous photos. I was quite happy with them. But then I noticed one that was climbing up a tree. I immediately noticed there were lines on the tree trunk and that there were lines on the creature itself.
I didn’t have much time, before it would get out of reach. I set up my camera on the tripod quickly and crossed my fingers. Whet it got in the frame, I started taking photos. Many, many photos.
It was all over in a few seconds, and I had no clue if it any of them are any good. I was extremely pleased when I saw this one.
Just enough lines are in line that it looked good to me. If all were to align, it might look fake. But this way, I really like it.
